2 Dialog strategies for Speech Dialog Systems

Aside from the provided design knowledge, our study shows in a particular context the dialog strategy that is preferred by users to create a user-friendly and efficient human–computer dialog. Thus, our study contributes to the body of knowledge in behavioral research by enhancing the understanding of user preferences toward different dialog strategies. The survey participants generally prefer the flexibility of the open system, which allows the user to fill several slots at once and helps to determine the course of the system.

2 System Design
